Ghale Treks Terms & Conditions contain legal obligations, we encourage you to read them carefully. They form the basis on which bookings are accepted by Ghale Treks and Expedition.
subject to these Terms & Conditions; in all booking arrangements, the person making the booking shall be deemed to have accepted these conditions on behalf of the persons named in the booking.
No variation to these Terms & Conditions shall be of any effect unless made in writing by and with the authority of Ghale Treks and Expedition.
Good health and physical fitness is required on all trips. We recommend a physical examination for all trekkers on extended treks.
It is a condition while booking a treks and tours with Ghale Treks that travelers/trekkers must be protected by insurance themselves that covers cancellation, accidents, health, emergency evacuation, and lost of items, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects.
All costs for emergency evacuation must be paid in cash their destination unless an insurance company has agreed to pay the costs on your behalf. It is important that any insurance policy issued to cover emergency evacuation for trek/tour does not exclude alpinism or mountaineering.
INFANT RATES Child under 2 years is free of charge for all program.

Ghale Treks cancellation policy will apply only once your booking is confirmed. A confirmed booking is when we have advised you that the travel service request or hotel room is available and has been reserved. We do not charge a cancellation fee for travel service request or room that have not been confirmed.
Once a partial or full payment has been made cancellations will only be accepted in writing via fax or email. Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received. All cancellations must be received prior to the tour departure date.
Please review the cancellation policy by matching your check in date with Ghale . Our rates of refund are derived from our suppliers' requirements, and can be summarized as follows:

- For authentication purposes, only written cancellation notices (e-mail or fax) will be accepted.
- In case of NO-SHOW or early check out, non refund will be made. (Considered as cancellation without the required advance notice)
- Amendment need to be made not less than 5 business days prior to check-in date (in case of emergency, please contact our reservation directly.)
- Will not be responsible for any (additional) charges incurred after cancellations/ amendments without confirmation from our side.
- The refund will be made through bank transfer, Paypal or through your credit card, depending on the original method of purchase. Additionally, although Ghale will instruct the bank to handle the crediting process immediately upon notification of cancellation, it could take from 4 to 6 weeks for the actual crediting to take place, depending on your Bank's practice.

Refunds: There will be no any refunds if a passenger leaves a trip for any reason whatsoever, either voluntarily or involuntarily, after it has begun. We will make no refunds for any meals, accommodation or services not used.
If tour either trekking is stopped or early arrival due to nature accident likewise weather reasons this case Ghale Treks will not refund.
If you wish to change your booking in any way, you must contact us as soon as possible and Ghale Treks will accommodate your request to the best of our ability. Surcharges may apply.
The passenger specifically agrees that Ghale Treks shall not be held responsible for any delays or changes in itineraries caused by an act, omission or other circumstances on the part of domestic airlines or helicopter companies in Nepal ; the trekkers/travelers understand that such situations may occur, and that we will not be able to inform them of each possible problem.
The itinerary, highlights and excursions as set out in the itinerary will be adhered to as far as possible, but these are to be used as a guide only. The company or trek staff may make omissions or alterations to the itinerary, highlights, and excursions as they deem it to be necessary. Some highlights or excursions may be inaccessible for any number of reasons.
Ghale Treks reserve the right to refuse to continue to carry any passenger(s) causing inconvenience or annoyance to other travelers/trekkers, or creating difficulties that would hamper the smooth running of a trip.
We shall not be liable for any loss or damage to baggage or personal possessions, or any consequential losses resulting there from. If a traveler/trekker is injured or becomes ill, all evacuation and hospital expenses, doctors' fees and repatriation costs are the traveler/trekker's responsibility, and Ghale Treks shall not be liable for any refund of the Treks or Tours fare.
It is the traveler/trekker's responsibility to have valid passports and all visas and equipment that may be required on the selected tour. We do not accept responsibility for failure to obtain these visas for any reason, and do not accept responsibility for any passports or documents left with us for this purpose.
The prices quoted by Ghale Treks are based on airfares, exchange rates and costs in effect on the date shown. We reserve the right to alter our prices if these rates change substantially. We may also apply surcharges in the event of significant changes in airfare, government regulations and taxes. Prices shown for travel packages are in U.S. Dollars. Prices are subject to change based upon your choice of travel dates, number of travelers, departure city, and your choice of flight, hotels or other items, and may require a minimum nights' stay. Ghale Treks cannot make refunds to traveler/trekker who are adversely affected by changes in exchange rates.
The traveler/trekker understands that during the course of the trip, certain risks and dangers may occur, including, but not limited to, the hazards of traveling in mountainous terrain, accident or illness in remote places without medical facilities, and the forces of nature. The traveler/trekker agrees to assume all risks associated with the journey, and agrees that no liability will be attached to the company or its outfitters, employees or agents, or to any member of the tour group in respect to death, personal injury, illness or delay of traveler/trekker, or for any loss or damage to the property of the traveler/trekker during the course of the trip, howsoever caused.
To secure a booking, the Company requires a completed booking form together with a deposit of 30% of the total per person price of the trip or, if there are less than 30 days remaining until the trip is due to commence, the Company requires full payment of the trip. A booking is accepted and becomes definite only from the date when the Company has confirmed acceptance by issuing the client with a Trip Confirmation email. It is at this point that a contract between the Company and the Client comes into existence. Before your booking is confirmed and a contract comes into force, the Company reserves the right to decline any booking at their discretion. The contract is between the Company and the Client, being the person named on the booking form. The contract, including all matters arising from it, No employee, contractor or sub-contractor of the Company other than a director has the authority to vary or omit any of these terms or promise any discount or refund.
Wheelchair accessible rooms may not be available in all packages. They may be requested but cannot be guaranteed. If the operator is notified at time of initial request every effort will be made to offer handicapped facilities. Standards may vary from property to property, and country to country, and are not within the Operator’s control. Ground transfers may not be available for passengers with wheelchairs.

Schedules are subject to change without notice by air carrier and are not under the control of the operator. As a courtesy the tour operator may accommodate you on another available carrier. Failure to check-in at least two hours prior to departure may result in denied boarding, and no refund will be granted.
