A Custom Journey is created from scratch by you and your Trip Coordinator. Together you determine dates, destinations and length of stay. These are private departures, and other travelers will not join in on your itinerary. A local guide and driver will accompany you on a Custom Journey.

Nepal is one of the important tourist destinations of the world. The Himalayas and the
scenic beauty are the prominent attractions to the tourists in Nepal. Nepal is recognized as the
country of Mount Everest (crown of the world), the birth place of Lord Buddha (apostle of
peace) and it is the landlocked country located between two giants countries India and china. It is
in rectangular in shape with the length of 885 kilometers east to west and 193 kilometers north to
south. The total area occupied by the country is 147,181 Square kilometers which accounts 0.03
percent of land area of the earth and 0.3 percent of Asia.

The weather is probably the best guide for deciding when to plan your trip to Nepal.
October and November are considered the best times of the year. The monsoon will have just
ended, and clear skies with optimal temperature will prevail. The main festivals of Dashain and
Tihar (Hindu equivalent of Christmas in terms of festivity) fall during these months. However,
this is also the busiest tourist season, and the main tourist centers and trekking trails tend to be
crowded with travelers like you. The tourist flow ebbs a little, but not significantly, between the
winter months of December and mid-February. It catches up once again between mid-February
and mid-April. From mid-June to early October, it's the monsoon, during which time it rains
almost everyday and most of the Himalayas are hidden behind the clouds. In short, plan to visit
Nepal between October and May, keeping in mind that October-November and February-March
are the best times (but crowded with other travelers)

Kathmandu; and if you buy tickets from any other airlines, you will probably connect with one
of these airlines for the final leg of your flight.
Alternatively, if you have time and enthusiasm, traveling overland to Nepal via India is an
option. British overland travel operators can take you from London to Kathmandu on a six to
eighteen week trip for anywhere between $1200 to $ 2500 depending upon the nature of your trip. You will travel from continental Europe through Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and
India to Nepal. For specific details on traveling overland from India to Nepal

The most popular seasons are autumn and spring. Autumn: Sep-Nov October and November are really Nepal's highest months - offering excellent
weather and tantalizing mountain views.
Winter: Dec-Feb This season is noted for occasional snowfall only at higher elevations.
Mountain passes may be snowbound; hence it is ideal for trekking at lower elevations, generally
below 3000 meters.
Spring: Mar-May Different varieties of wild flowers, specially the rhododendrons, make the
hillside above 5000 meters a haunting paradise during this season. It is mildly warm at lower
elevations and at higher elevation over 4000 meters the mountain views are excellent and
temperature is quite moderate.
Summer: Jun-Aug Summer months really continue up to mid-September making travel wet and
warm. These times are blessed for the keen botanist as the higher valleys and meadows blossom
with flowers and lush vegetation. Insect repellent is a nice addition to your. What to Bring list.
During this season, you can trek in the rain-shadow (places are out of reach of the rain clouds
because of the high mountains) areas north of the Himalaya like Mustang and Dolpa.
