Ghale Treks Refund and Cancellation Policy
Ghale Treks, we recognize that plans can sometimes change, and we strive to provide clear guidelines regarding our refund and cancellation policies. These policies are applicable to all trips and activities booked through our services. Please carefully review the following information:
General Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellation Requests:
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to our customer service team. The date we receive your request will determine the applicable cancellation fees.
2. Cancellation Fees:
– More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus a processing fee.
– 30 to 60 days before departure: 50% of the trip cost will be refunded.
– 7 to 29 days before departure: 25% of the trip cost will be refunded.
– Less than 7 days before departure: No refund will be issued.
NOTE: These cancellation fees apply to multi-day travel activities. For some short day trips, specific policies are detailed on their respective pages.
Cancellation Policy for Day Trips
– Less than 2 days before the event: 100% cancellation fee.
– 3 to 6 days before the event: 50% cancellation fee.
– 7 or more days before the event: No cancellation fee (full refund).
3. Adventure Activities:
Certain adventure activities may have specific cancellation policies. Please refer to the trip page or the Terms and Conditions page for detailed information regarding these activities.
Refund Process
Refunds will be processed within 30 business days after receiving your written cancellation request. The refund will be issued using the original payment method.
Changes to Itinerary
If you request a change to your itinerary, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. However, changes made within 7 days of departure may incur additional fees.
Force Majeure
In the event of unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, political instability, etc.) that necessitate cancellation, Ghale Treks will endeavor to offer a credit for future travel rather than a monetary refund.
