At Ghale Group, operational agility and seamless adaptability define our corporate philosophy—whether we are engineering advanced tech frameworks, executing complex travel logistics, or navigating unpredictable weather patterns. On May 29–30, 2026, our corporate team put this dynamic flexibility into practice during our weekend getaway:
“CONQUERING THE CURRENTS: Unstoppable Together ! Annual Team Building Retreat 2026.”
When official operational adjustments and local weather tracking required a quick tactical shift in our itinerary, our team pivoted flawlessly. The result was a highly successful, fully sponsored two-day excursion that blended high-octane adventure with premium relaxation for our 20-member corporate crew.
“Team, our weekend on the Trishuli reminded me that our true strength lies in our collective rhythm. Just as navigating those rapids required every paddle to strike in perfect unison, conquering our business goals requires absolute synergy. We returned as one family – unshakable, aligned, and re-energized. Let’s row as one team!”
The retreat kicked off on Friday afternoon, with the team gathering at our central Kathmandu office between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM. Leaving our spreadsheets and tech design modules behind, we boarded our vehicles and set off down the highway. To fuel the journey, we paused along the way to enjoy a traditional, delicious khaja (snacks) session, which instantly sparked high spirits and laughter across the group.
Our first major destination was the tranquil Manakamana Bamboo Resort located in Gorkha, Nepal. After a smooth check-in process and settling into our beautiful overnight accommodations, the team transferred over to the vibrant River Fun Beach Resort on the edge of the Trishuli River for the evening’s main events.
The riverside night was an absolute masterclass in team bonding. We were greeted with an array of delicious evening snacks, which quickly transitioned into a high-energy party featuring a live DJ music program. The river canyon echoed with our team’s singing, impromptu dance-offs, and walking along the scenic banks to take in the evening views. One of the most memorable segments of the night was our corporate storytelling circle, where employees shared hilarious behind-the-scenes office anecdotes over a premium buffet dinner. After hours of unwinding, celebrating, and dancing, we drove back to the peaceful Manakamana Bamboo Resort for a comfortable overnight stay.
Saturday morning opened with a crisp breeze. After checking out from the bamboo resort, we transferred back to River Fun Beach Resort for a hearty, refreshing breakfast. Ready for action, we drove out to Fishling, the official launching point for our white-water rafting expedition. Dressed in our printed corporate logo T-shirts, we geared up for an intense 1.5-hour rafting run down the Trishuli River.
Navigating the wild, exciting rapids required absolute synchronization and teamwork—a perfect physical metaphor for our interconnected multi-sector operations. The river became a stage for pure joy, featuring mid-river swimming, daring dives directly into the water, and friendly water fights between rafts.
Following the exhilarating river run, we returned to the resort to enjoy well-deserved free time, indulging in pool swimming, scenic photography, and lively beach games. A grand buffet lunch was served precisely at 1:00 PM, providing a stellar culinary conclusion to our outdoor adventure. Re-energized and unified, we boarded our vehicles for a smooth, comfortable drive back to the Kathmandu office, concluding a legendary weekend holiday.
